01 Aug 2005 Annual ENT Week Draws International Audience The second annual ENT Instructional Course Week drew enthusiastic local and international participation when it was held in July 2005. Close to 90 trainees and specialists, both local and from countries including Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan, attended the otology & neuro-otology, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, and head & neck courses that were held during the Course Week. A hands-on ENT workshop for family physicians was also held, drawing about 50 family physicians. The annual Course Week was organised by the SGH Department of Otolaryngology. A key feature of these courses was their emphasis on management strategies and surgical techniques. In the otology & neuro-otology, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, and head & neck courses, faculty from the SGH Department of Otolaryngology as well as international speakers guided participants through didactic sessions and cadaveric dissections. The ENT Week ran from 21 to 31 July 2005.
