10 Oct 2005 SGH Hospital Management Study Programme Hosts Chinese Participants The SGH Hospital Management Study programme received yet another intake of participants for the year 2005. From 1 to 7 October 2005, a group of 38 healthcare professionals from the Shanghai Eastern Hospital learnt about various aspects of hospital management through presentations and tours conducted at SGH, SingHealth Polyclinics, Singapore National Eye Centre, Changi General Hospital and Alexandra Hospital. The presentations covered education and training, nursing management, quality assurance, service quality, business development, information management, hospital policy and governance, healthcare financing and control, and human resource development. While at SGH, the participants toured facilities including selected wards, ambulatory surgery center, department of emergency medicine, and specialist outpatient clinics.
