| 02 Aug 2005 Chinese Healthcare Professionals Get Fresh Insight on Hospital Management
From 25 July to 1 August 2005, 30 healthcare professionals from Shanghai East Group Hospital participated in the Singapore General Hospital Management Study organised by SGH-PGMI.
Participants benefited from the combined input of speakers from SGH, Alexandra Hospital, Changi General Hospital, Singapore National Eye Centre and SingHealth Polyclinics. Over the course of the programme, participants learnt about hospital policy and governance, healthcare financing and control, hospital design, business development, performance management, and quality assurance, among others.
The programme was interspersed with educational visits to the various departments of these institutions.
