01 Mar 2006 Celebrate SGH's 185th Anniversary with the SGH Museum Celebrate the 185th anniversary of SGH with the SGH Museum. The Museum invites you to mark this milestone by lending your support and participation to its fund-raising event, the SGH Museum Charity Golf & Dinner.  This event will be held on 12 April 2006 at the Sentosa Golf Club. By participating in this event, you can look forward to an enjoyable afternoon of golf with friends; a chance to win the "Hole-in-one" prize of a BMW 730Li kindly sponsored by BMW/Performance Motors; gourmet dinner at well-known Italian restaurant and lounge bar, Il Lido; attractive lucky draw prizes for all guests at the dinner; and exciting entertainment to accompany the dinner. The SGH Museum was officially opened by President SR Nathan on 20 May 2005. It is a repository of artifacts and records, where visitors can trace the long and rich history of SGH. The Museum also reflects the contribution of the medical, nursing and allied health staff to teaching, training and research in the advancement of medicine in Singapore for 185 years.
