SGH signs MOU with Stanford

A delegation from the Singapore General Hospital visited the Stanford Hospital and Clinics to sign a Memorandum of Understanding. The objectives were to explore the possibility of entering into mutually beneficial arrangements for the purpose of collaborating in telemedicine education and to promote exchange of information on or relating to medicine. 

SGH delegation includes Prof Ang Chong Lye (Chief Executive Officer), Prof Ng Han Seong (Chairman of Medical Board), Prof Fong Kok Yong (Chairman, Division of Medicine), A/Prof Colin Song (Head & Senior Consultant, Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery) and Dr Lee Kheng Hock (Head & Senior Consultant, Family Medicine & Continuing Care). 



 
The signing took place on 3 February 2009 at the Stanford Hospital and Clinics in California. Prof Ang Chong Lye, Chief Executive Officer and Barbara Ralston, Vice President, International Medical Services signed on behalf of Singapore General Hospital and Stanford Hospital and Clinics respectively. It was witnessed by Prof Ng Han Seong, Chairman of Medical Board, SGH and Adam M Barde, Director, International Medical Services, Stanford Hospital and Clinics.
 
In addition to the signing, A/Prof Colin Song presented a symposium on Update on the Management of Burn Injuries while Prof Fong Kok Yong presented Neuropsychiatric Lupus - Manifestations and Autoantibodies.
